The founder of Jia Lei, Ms Bong Hiong Hwa 黄湘花, has been in this line for more than 3 decades.

Formally graduated from various cooking institutions in various countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia and Australia, she has diplomas in Dim Sum Making, Chinese Cooking, Cake Making & Decorations and Pastry & Bread Making.

Her vast experience has allowed her to publish till today, more than 10 well received recipe books.

Jia Lei Confectionery & Training Centre is established in 1984.

Being a pioneer confectionery training center, the center offers domestic and professional courses for different classes of people; for instance, the working executives, housewives and students.

Over the years, our short courses have received overwhelming responses from clubs and private institutions.

Up to date, more than 10,000 students have graduated from our center, equipped with the essential skills needed for them to handle cooking of all sorts.
